It’s MOO time again!

With the recent re branding of my website I thought I ought to get my business cards to match so, finally, last week I visited my favourite printing company Moo and tried a new design to what I’ve normally gone for in the past and treated myself to their brand new Luxe range.

I am always excited when I get anything from Moo and today was no exception. Once I opened the box to see the content I was very pleased to say the least! The packaging definitely lives to the name of the range, Luxe, and the cards are oh so beautiful! Really thick and amazing quality.

I can’t wait to start giving them out

If you are running out of your business cards and you are looking to have something a little bit different that will get you noticed definitely give the Luxe Moo cards a go, you won’t be disappointed.

Sunshine, flowers and my lovely dogs

It’s finally Spring and the trees are blossoming, the sun is shining and it is amazing how powerful this is to contribute making me even happier than I normally am

It is no secret that Gerberas are my favourite flowers. A couple of weeks ago I went to Ikea with a friend and a pot made it’s way in my basket and came home with me! I love the interesting underside of them too, with their lovely furry stems

Every year in my neighbourhood the trees fill up with gorgeous blossoms, my favourite are the pink ones, they make such a wonderful spectacle throughout our roads and off course I had to set out to take a shot or two…

It has occurred to me that I have never written about my lovely dogs who enrich my life and make me a better me. There’s Kyra, my bundle of sunshine, a 6 yrs old yellow Labrador. Luna, a little lady in every sense of the word, 5 yrs old black Toy Poodle and last but not least, my tiny little Skye, a true Princess and mini Diva, 2 and 1/2 yrs old Platinum Silver Toy Poodle.  They love their photos taken as since the day I brought every single one of them home, I took pictures of them and after every shoot they get rewarded with their favorite treats. So now, everytime my camera comes out or I set up the studio they rush over posing the little minx…

Eve & Jamie – Pre Wedding Shoot

Eve and Jamie were meant to marry abroad but had to change their plans just 4 months before they were due to be married which meant organising everything again from scratch in just those few months!

They have done a fantastic job in securing a fabulous venue, getting the dress, shoes, flowers and everything else in record time. 

Eve and Jamie are a really lovely, modern young couple, easy-going and up for anything! We met at Green Park for the first part of their shoot. The sun started shining, we got chatting and laughing, this happens a lot on my shoots, and then we were all systems go.

It has been a fabulous afternoon, it is great a pleasure to photograph such beautiful love. I can’t wait for their wedding day which will be on the 20th April at the beautiful Hartsfield Manor in Betchworth.

New Website now LIVE!

I am delighted to announce my lovely new website designed by the very talented Melissa Love is now LIVE!!

It has been months of research and putting together ideas but then Melissa did her magic in a flash! It is on a great platform SHOWIT which allows me to produce mini sites for each couple getting married displaying their images from pre wedding to their big day, showcasing their full story for friends and family to visit and enjoy.

Rebranding retreat

It has been a very exciting week!  On Monday I set off to go to Cornwall to visit incredibly talented Melissa Love for a rebranding retreat. I got to spend three lovely days with her and her family and get to see how she works her magic up close.

It has been amazing to see how quick and creative Melissa is, I never thought I would come away with a gorgeous website ready to upload my images and publish after just one day of work. Off course I had homework to do beforehand so that I had all the ground work done but nevertheless I was pleasantly surprised, to say the least…

Stacey & Wayne – In Love Shoot

I first met the lovely Stacey and Wayne last December at Winter Wonderland in London, Hyde Park while I was playing with my new softbox and flash. They were lovely and friendly and very willing to allow me to take a quick snap of them.

I was delighted when they asked me to take some more pictures of them and in January we did just that and had a lot of fun going around London.

And it’s a wrap! Cupcakes and cake with tea at the gorgeous Bakery County Hall

Zakiya & Matt – In love shoot

I first met lovely Zakiya at a photography training. Having both a happy and bubbly personality we connected straight away.

When she asked me to photograph her and her husband Matt I was more than excited! Zakiya and Matt got married about 6 months ago but sadly they are yet to receive their wedding photographs from their wedding photographer! I know! Can you believe it? Six months…

So it is totally understandable why they wanted to have a photographic session together as a married couple, very much in love. It has been an honour and a true pleasure to photograph them, their love is very fresh and clear and such a joy to witness. They met while studying at the Nottingham University and spent a lot of time strolling around in its beautiful grounds, a very romantic place, so it came natural to wanting to do the shoot there, a place meaningful to them as a couple with many romantic memories.

Zakiya is a very funny and warm hearted girl that you can’t help but fall in love with! Matt is the perfect match for her, he was a great fun and a true rock star, he kept whispering into Zakiya’s ear sweet things throughout the shoot, Barry White’s style! How cool is that!

I feel so blessed to do what I do and my heart fills up every time I have the privilege of photographing couples in love, getting engaged, married of simply celebrating their love.
